Sam Milby is Hollywood-bound! He's scheduled to move to the United States early next year leaving behind a successful showbiz career in the Philippines and a huge upcoming project in ABS-CBN. Unknown to many, the actor has been very busy auditioning for several roles in Hollywood. (Did you know that he and Nikki Gil submitted audition videos for Glee?)
He hasn't gotten any roles yet but the feedback that he has been receiving from previous auditions are positive! Although he's serious about penetrating mainstream Hollywood, he said he's not saying goodbye to his local showbiz career. He'll be back! Goodluck Sam!
In relation to this, Derek Ramsey was chosen to replace Sam in another movie co-starring Bea Alonzo. Also, the TV drama, "Alta" which has Sam in its original cast, will be top-billed by KC Concepcion, Angelica Panganiban, Gretchen Barretto, Luis Manzano and Zanjoe Marudo. Diether Ocampo will be taking over Sam's role.
