Venus paid a courtesy call to Governor Pacquiao on Tuesday where she brought with her a pair of gloves and asked him to sign them. Pacquiao's advice to Venus?
“Basta kailangan confident ka. Isipin mo lang nasa Pilipinas ka lang. Marami naman mga kababayan natin doon na susuporta sa iyo. Tatawagan natin mga kaibigan doon para matulungan ka.”
According to rumors, Venus will be bringing the gloves to Vegas as the Philippine's gift for the Miss Universe Charity Auction. The charity auction will benefit the Nevada Cancer Institute.
The pageant, with finals scheduled on August 23, will be aired live on ABS-CBN Channel 2 (August 24, Philippine time).
