Internation Sudoku Tournament: Pinoys emerged champions

16-year old Sarah Jane Cua and 14-year old James Tan bagged the first and second place (respectively, of the the 18 and under category) of the Kejia Pengchen Cup Beijing International Sudoku Tournament.

Cua received a trophy and a US$500 cash price. She's an incoming freshman at the Ateneo de Manila University.

Tan, on the other hand, received a certificate and a US$400 cash price. He's from from Bacolod's Trinity Christian School and the current Sudoku grandmaster of the Philippines.

The event was held last May 19-22.
